  • Madrid Spain

    Madrid is Spain’s enchanting city and central capital, a city of elegant boulevards and expansive, manicured parks such as the Buen Retiro. It’s renowned for its rich repositories of European art, including the Prado Museum’s works by Goya, Velázquez and other Spanish masters. The heart of old Hapsburg Madrid is the portico-lined Plaza Mayor, and nearby is the baroque Royal Palace and Armory, displaying historic weaponry.

    Segovia

    Segovia is a charming and historical town. The city is famous for its 28-meter-tall Roman aqueduct. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this massive 894-meter long feat of engineering dates back to the late first century and is a sight to behold.
    Segovia is also home to a spectacular Alcazar, quaint narrow streets, and delightful bakeries, cafes, and restaurants. Located only 90 kilometres northwest of Madrid and we will enjoy a fabulous excursion day trip and return late in the evening./p>

    Seville

    Is the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region. It’s famous for flamenco dancing, particularly in its Triana neighborhood. Major landmarks include the ornate Alcázar castle complex, built during the Moorish Almohad dynasty, and the 18th-century Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza bullring. The Gothic Seville Cathedral is the site of Christopher Columbus’s tomb and a minaret turned bell tower, the Giraldo.

  • Day 1-3: Madrid

    Friday: On Arrival in Madrid, you will be transferred to your host families. Families are very excited to have you stay with them during your stay and they all live in a lovely safe residential area close to the centre of Madrid.
    Saturday : 12.30-1pm This morning you will have Orientation with your local representative who will share tips of Spanish lifestyle, cultural, etiquette, local foods to help you enjoy your full immersion with your host family. In the afternoon you will enjoy time with your host family and experience traditional Spanish life.
    Sunday : Sunday will be a great day with your host family enjoying a full immersion with your family for the day

  • Day 4: Madrid

    Monday : This morning attend Spanish Language school from 9-12 for Spanish lessons. Your local representative will meet the group after your Spanish lessons for a great afternoon of sightseeing and adventure. City sightseeing tour with audio guide around Madrid. Visit Plaza mayor, Calle Arenal, Calle Mayor, Plaza de Oriente, Plaza de la Villa and more. Enjoy delicious Chocolate con Churros en San Ginés – Old Chocolateria/p>

  • Day 5: Madrid

    Tuesday: This morning attend Spanish Language school from 9-12 Spanish lessons. Your Local representative will meet you again for another great afternoon of sightseeing, visiting Museo del Prado and continue on to El Retiro, Plaza de Neptuno, Plaza de Cibeles, Calle de la Bolsa and Paseo de la Castellana. In Tribunal we will visit the Museo of History of Madrid and the Calle Fuencarral, famous for ambiance and shops. Around 19,00 will take the train back to Aravaca. Arrive home to enjoy dinner with your family and share all your adventures around the dinner table together.

  • Day 6: Segovia Day Excursion

    Wednesday: Today we depart on an exciting full day excursion to Historical UNESCO city of Segovia. We will meet a local guide who will give an English overview of the Spanish and European history through the different monuments of Segovia. The Romans, the Arabic, the visit gothic Kings, La Reconquista, the Spanish Kingdom, the Discovery of America by Cristobal Colon under Reyes Católicos. We will visit the impressive Roman Acueduct, the Cathedral, El Alcazar, El barrio de la Judería, la Muralla, as well as many more churches and monuments.
    We will continue to go to see the beautiful La Granja where we have will visit the Borbon gardens and Palais, the small reservoir in the mountain inside the gardens and the town. We will make our way to the Crystal Factory to watch a demonstration of blown glass as it was made in the old times. Around 6 pm we will go back to Madrid. Students will return to enjoy dinner with host families.

  • Day 7: Madrid

    Thursday: Spanish Culinary Class: 10am meet the group and then continue on to our private CULINARY workshop with “LoLa” learning the secrets of some tasty Spanish Traditional dishes such as Paella and Tortilla. Enjoy all the dishes an eat what you cook including a delicious dessert to finish. Afternoon free time for shopping and wondering the cobbled roads of Madrid.

  • Day 8: Madrid

    Friday: Today we will visit and participate in a Spanish high school for a day and meet a buddy and experience local high school.

  • Day 9/10: Madrid

    Saturday and Sunday: Spend a great weekend with your host family who will take you out and show the local secrets of Madrid.

  • Day 11: Madrid

    Monday: This morning will be your last Spanish Language school from 9-12. Your Local representative will meet you again for another great afternoon in Madrid shopping and free time and visit Museo de Arte Contemporáneo

  • Day 12: Madrid to Seville

    Tuesday: Today we depart Madrid by train to Seville. On arrival we will transfer to our hotels and leave our bags ready for a great adventure in Seville We will be visiting Torre del Oro, Reales Alcázares, Catedral Giralda, Archivo de Indias, Ayuntamiento de Sevilla Hotel Alfonso XIII, Fábrica de Tabacos, Plaza de España. We will enjoy the local cruise with a delicious dinner and evening walking tour with ancient town night lights

  • Day 13: Seville

    Wednesday: Another fabulous full day of sightseeing Sevilla. Visiting Patio de Banderas Judería, Hospital de los Venerables, Plaza de Doña Elvira, Plaza de Santa Cruz, Monumento a Don Juan Tenorio, Plaza de las Cruces, Santa Cruz, Plaza San Francisco, Plaza Nueva/ Ayuntamiento, Plaza del Molviedro, Hospital de la Caridad, Arco del Postigo del Aceite, Plaza del Cabildo. This afternoon will have free time for shopping. This evening we will go to see a traditional Tabloado Flamenco dance show and enjoy Spain’s specialty gastronomy “Paella” dinner before the show

  • Day 14: Seville

    Thursday: Seville the city of history and culture. Visit a local Museum or we can just enjoy the morning freshness of a beautiful city wondering the cobbled streets of Seville with local representative with free time for souvenir shopping. This afternoon we depart via train and return to Madrid.

  • Day 15: Madrid

    Friday: Another great day in Madrid and this is a great day for the Soccer enthusiasts and visit famous Olympic Stadium SANTIGO BERNABEU STADIUM REAL MADRID team and tour of the museum to learn true history of Soccer.
    Return to your host family for a lovely farewell and traditional lunch with family. Time to do your last minute backing, relax before your departure for your flight home.
    Time to say farewell to your family, we suggest you buy a small gift for having open their home and allowing you to stay with the family.
    At 1800 meet your local representative with your luggage packed and coach and Board the coach to transfer you to Madrid Barajas Airport for our flight back to Australia

  • Day 16/17: Madrid-Australia

    Saturday: Flight to Australia.

  • Day 18: Arrival Australia

    Arrive home to beautiful Australia.
